PROGRAMS

Housing Initiative

The primary objective of this program is to build homes for adults with Autism who are transitioning out of their traditional family environment. This program will provide a safe and supportive living environment and aim to address the critical need for affordable and accessible housing within this community of individuals. By constructing homes that are specifically designed to meet the unique challenges and needs of Autistic individuals, we will ensure the opportunity to live comfortably and independently. In addition to housing, there is a home repair program to assist residents with emergency repairs such as appliances, furnaces, and plumbing repairs for owners. This program will promote independence, well-being, and quality of life for individuals with Autism and support them in achieving their full potential!

Education and Raising Awareness

This program aims to educate individuals about autism spectrum disorder and raise awareness in the community. Through informational events, Dylan's House provides valuable resources to help people better understand autism and how to support individuals with the condition. By increasing knowledge and promoting acceptance, the Education and Awareness program strives to create a more inclusive and understanding society for everyone.

Caregiver Grants

A grant program for caregivers of people with Autism is a valuable initiative that aims to support and empower those who provide essential care. Caregivers working with Autistic individuals that reside in a supported living environment will be eligible. Dylan’s House aims to reward and retain these hard working and dedicated caregivers. It also acknowledges the vital role that caregivers play in the lives of individuals with Autism. This is a challenging but rewarding career.
